Johnny Hastings has an iconic presence in the Black Hills music scene. Moving between solo songwriting, the hard-hitting blues of Stillhouse Down, and his work as lead guitarist with Rapid City’s Camp Comfort.
This year, he’s been working on something new: a solo album built from heart-laden songs, lived-in stories, and the kind of playing that comes from staying curious after many miles, many packs of strings, and many steps on the musical path.
On June 12, Johnny brings that new material to The Custer Beacon with his friends and collaborators: Woody and Ansley Earwood. Join us for an evening of music and a first listen to this latest chapter of the Hastings story.
