Chris Pohlson is an Americana artist originally from the quiet town of Ottumwa, Iowa. An alumnus of Berklee College of Music, he has performed across the United States playing in various bands and solo acts. His sound draws from deep American musical traditions while reflecting the working-class heart of the Midwest. Recent appearances include performing at Sioux River Folk Fest, opening shows for Pert Near Sandstone and Humbletown, and performing as the guitarist for the Bright Star musical at Schmeckfest. Chris is looking forward to several shows this summer including headlining the Brookings Art Festival with his bluegrass band, The Double O Forty Fours, and performing as a penultimate headliner at the Sioux River Folk Fest with his other bluegrass band, Tomahawk County.
