Trumpeter Alex Massa brings is quartet to the Custer Beacon on Friday, September 27th. With Alex Diaz on upright bass, Jamin Hubner on drums, and Kirk Kadish on Keyboards, they weave their first through mostly original repertoire that will be on Massa’s next record “What Does Home Feel Like?”. This music reflects on the idea of “home”, and how each individual defines it. The second set will focus on the music that inspires that group - from boogaloos and soul jazz to standards to modern works.
