BHPFA and SheJumps are partnering to bring educational outdoor experiences for girls and women that nurture growth and transformation. To kick off this new partnership and to raise excitement for winter they are hosting a film series that will run through November, December, and January focused on women’s stories in the outdoors.
December’s film, Advice for Girls puts a spotlight on the collective experience of women in the ski industry. The film highlights skiers across generations – from women who hold first descents to young skiers ready to make their mark on the slopes.
With advice from three generations of female skiers, the film’s central message reminds women and girls that they are worthy of success, allowed to take up space, and are valuable to their world. An intersectional cast features all types of women – women of color, queer women, women with disabilities, and more – the crew hopes that everyone can find someone in the film to connect to.
